As long as there is dance, dancers will find new ways to use them, combining them, fusing them and creating their own. HFADTA is a membership driven organisation and serves as a governing body for new styles/disciplines and/or fused styles. HFADTA was established in 2001 in Hong Kong.

We act as a medium between dance professionals and the public through the following:

  • Aimed at developing student and teacher standards and assessment
  • Certification for both students & professionals
  • Training of instructors, adjudicators and judges in a variety of disciplines, thus broadening their horizons and income opportunity

  • Providing a syllabus containing various disciplines, aimed not only on fun but developing individuality dance personality and style through means of creative expression through dance
  • Informing the public of these exciting new styles through means of competitions and examinations to its members.
  • By training students in the areas of technical proficiency as well as presentation, performance etc
  • By providing students with performance opportunities, through shows, auditions and competitions
